CONGRESS ACTS IN RECKLESS DISREGARD FOR THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE

Published November 7th, 2009 in Uncategorized | No Comments »

The 111th Congress intends to take a vote on Saturday, November 7, 2009, in an attempt to ram through socialized healthcare legislation. The Democrat controlled Congress is continuing their plan of government takeover despite the fact that yesterday, Thursday, November 5, 2009, masses of conservative voters, who represent the majority of Americans, flooded the halls of Congress in Washington, D.C. to voice their opposition to government healthcare. The Liberty Counsel released its findings of a healthcare legislation study on November 4, 2009, identifying 11 features most common to all of the Democrat versions of socialized healthcare bills. Because American citizens have a right to know what is likely to be in the final bill, the Conservative Party is sharing the findings with you. (more…)

Independents

If one paid attention to the recent municipal elections, something odd may have been noticed.  Note that the GOP is saying that Independent Voters are swinging to the Right in response to the Obama Administrations recent attempts to force more costly legislation on the American People without regard to the economic problems that are more pronounced then ever.

In some cases, that might be true but the Republican Party is also doing everything possible to save face after the NY-23 fiasco.  At no point has the GOP regarded the New Conservative Movement nor have they counted the numbers of Tea Partiers who are openly rebelling against the Grand Ole Party and sending a message that politics as usual is about over. Conservative Party of Geogia Forming

Published November 2nd, 2009 in Uncategorized | No Comments »

Greetings to All Georgia Conservatives,

It has been a rare occurance in our Nation that one political era has created such a backlash against what would be the most far reaching abuses of political power in generations.  Unfortunately, we can no longer count on the GOP to support their former ideals of Limited Self Government and a Free Economy.  It is being reported by many news wires that the GOP has no idea how to control this anger from its former supporters.
The recent Town Hall anger is only a small representation of the frustration that the People of this grand Shining City on the Hill feel.  It is because of this that the Conservative Party has come to Georgia and is determined to help correct the errors of a Government that is clearly our of control and has no interest in representing the People that have, not only provided them a comfortable living, but expected to have their best interests represented.

Although we plan a lasting and effective presence for the future, now is the time to act.  If you have had an interest in the Conservative Party, please sign up to volunteer or help out in some other manner.  You can also get int touch at the contact info below.  If you are currently involved in Local, County, or State politics, please consider a Party that has the backing and support of the People.

America is in Crisis.  Let’s return it to the People, and in this case, better than we found it.

Time to Turn Back

Published April 17th, 2009 in Uncategorized | No Comments »

Identifying oneself with the Conservative Party can often bring forth a barrage of comments that we, as Conservatives, are a “party of the past”, that we are “always looking back, never forward”, and so on. This is probably meant as criticism, but the truth of the matter is that there are periods in history where retreat was, and is, smart. And not just in warfare.
C. S. Lewis, 1898-1963, was a noted Irish author and scholar, and an outstanding Oxford academic. In lectures given by him in the mid-1940′s, there are two quotations from his series, “Right and Wrong” that can be seen as a clue to the meaning of the Universe. Doctor Lewis first sets up an image with the rhetorical statement that “you can’t put the clock back.” He then comments, “Would you think I was joking if I said that you can put a clock back, and that if the clock is wrong, it’s often the sensible thing to do?”
He then follows with this brilliant statement: “If you’re on the wrong road, progress means doing an about-turn and walking back to the right road; and in that case the man who turns back soonest is the most progressive man.”
I submit to you that the Conservative Party is now the most progressive political party because it is the first party to totally turn “soonest” to the noble documents, all the documents, offerred up by the Founding Fathers of this great nation. Our sole mission is to re-establish the limits and boundaries of Government as framed by the Founding Fathers of the United States of America.
Ladies and Genglemen, we are on the wrong road. Time to turn back before it’s too late.
