Turkey and Dressing and Cranberry Sauce

God has blessed me in ways I would never have thought possible.  He has provided gifts that I never knew I wanted or needed.  I am very thankful for all these things, of course.

As I write this, I find myself being most thankful for family and friends who now reach from California through Arizona, to Texas, up to Kansas, across to Illinois, down to Louisiana, up to Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, down through North Carolina and then to Florida.

I wish for all of you the celebration of your thankfulness for God’s blessings in your own circle of family and friends. (more…)

Bad Advertisement for the GOP

You have good candidates who lose political races because of their stance on the issues.  You also have bad candidates who lose political races because of their stance on the issues.  Then you have bad candidates who drop out of political races because they are losing.  When these candidates promptly turn against the party that got them there, you have a turncoat.  But when this same candidate goes on a liberal talk show on CNN and says that she plans to remain a Republican instead of doing the honest thing and officially switching to the Democrat Party, you have a really bad advertisement for the GOP. Support Your Local Conservative

A gentleman I know is really quite fed up with the Republican Party and the nonsense they have been promoting as candidates and issues recently.  He received a request for funds from his Congressional District in the form of a survey.

Like most of us who have formerly supported Republican candidates, he has come to the same conclusion others have.  “You’re not playing, so we’re not paying.”

He penned a letter and returned it in the survey envelope.  He gave me permission to reprint it here: (more…)

A Call For Leaders!

Published November 11th, 2009 in Uncategorized | No Comments »

Hello everyone,

We need leaders to help grow the Conservative Party.  Our state is large with over 4 million people and multiple cities throughout.  Many Louisiana citizens do not know that a Conservative Party exists in Louisiana, and unless they do a specific internet search for us, they are likely to never hear about us.  In order for the Conservative Party to have a sturdy foundation, we need leaders to take the challenge of spreading conservatism within their communities, cities, parishes, and party regions.  Please contact me if you are ready to take action and commit to a better future.

Our Short Term Goal

Published November 8th, 2009 in Uncategorized | No Comments »

Hello everyone,

Our State Party’s short term goal is to have 1,000 Louisiana Citizens to register as Conservative. This will allow a Conservative Candidate to be put on our state’s election ballot. We already have over 180 registered Conservatives in Louisiana, so we are well on our way, but we need everyone’s help to grow our party to its full potential. Please click “Voter Registration” on the left hand side of our site to learn more.

Hello Louisiana Citizens

Published November 6th, 2009 in Uncategorized | No Comments »

Hello Louisiana citizens,

I am greatly pleased to be able to serve as President of the Conservative Party of Louisiana.  We live in a great state and I have high expectations for our future.  Many Americans have been awakened by recently passed and proposed legislation which rapidly expands the reach of our federal government.  An overwhelming amount of Americans are outraged and do not agree with the supposed benefits of such vast governmental expansion.  Throughout my career, it has always been necessary to bring attention to problems only when an alternative solution accompanies the criticism.  Anything less would be ineffective and a waste of time and energy.  Well, we finally have an organized solution to the problem of government expansion and ineffective, all-encompassing, federal solutions.  The Conservative Party of the United States and each affiliated Conservative Party of the fifty states is that solution.  In order for the Conservative party to gain strength and become a firm voice of reasoning, each state party needs to build an educated and passionate group of members who will continue to strive for a more efficient form of government within their reach.  We all want a healthy future for Louisiana and we need to focus on improvements which can be made within our state and local communities.  We need to get the word out to others about this great party and what we can get accomplished if we organize our thoughts into solutions using the Conservative Party of Louisiana as our vehicle.  There is no need for empty criticism.  We need to come together and provide our state with sensible and cost-effective solutions to be put into practice.  I look forward to working with everyone to help better our state, and please feel free to contact me anytime.

She Said WHAT???

Published November 6th, 2009 in Political Thoughts | No Comments »

I just heard that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has decided not to put her atrocious health care catastrophe on the Internet for the people to read before there is a vote taken.

She doesn’t think we are smart enough to know what it says?  She thinks we wouldn’t be willing to at least scan read through the well over 2000 pages?  Does she really think that she can sneak this by without so much as a ‘by your leave’ from the American people?

What is this woman’s problem?! (more…)
