Do you remember the 60’s song about Alfie, the lyrics of which begin, “What’s it all about, Alfie? What’s it all about when you sort it out, Alfie? The Christmas holiday season in the United States generally inspires one’s thoughts to that question, “What’s it all about?” I say it’s about the mystery of something greater than us. It provokes that thought today, and it did at the time of the Founding Fathers of this nation.
.” The Declaration of Independence makes four explicit references to our nation’s reliance on God.

Have you ever given any thought to whether or not you are actually classified as a Republican, a Democrat, an Independent or Whocares? And why is this important in the first place?

God has blessed me in ways I would never have thought possible. He has provided gifts that I never knew I wanted or needed. I am very thankful for all these things, of course.
As I write this, I find myself being most thankful for family and friends who now reach from California through Arizona, to Texas, up to Kansas, across to Illinois, down to Louisiana, up to Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, down through North Carolina and then to Florida.
I wish for all of you the celebration of your thankfulness for God’s blessings in your own circle of family and friends. Read the rest of this entry »

You have good candidates who lose political races because of their stance on the issues. You also have bad candidates who lose political races because of their stance on the issues. Then you have bad candidates who drop out of political races because they are losing. When these candidates promptly turn against the party that got them there, you have a turncoat. But when this same candidate goes on a liberal talk show on CNN and says that she plans to remain a Republican instead of doing the honest thing and officially switching to the Democrat Party, you have a really bad advertisement for the GOP. A gentleman I know is really quite fed up with the Republican Party and the nonsense they have been promoting as candidates and issues recently. He received a request for funds from his Congressional District in the form of a survey.
Like most of us who have formerly supported Republican candidates, he has come to the same conclusion others have. “You’re not playing, so we’re not paying.”
He penned a letter and returned it in the survey envelope. He gave me permission to reprint it here: Read the rest of this entry »

Hello everyone,
We need leaders to help grow the Conservative Party. Our state is large with over 4 million people and multiple cities throughout. Many Louisiana citizens do not know that a Conservative Party exists in Louisiana, and unless they do a specific internet search for us, they are likely to never hear about us. In order for the Conservative Party to have a sturdy foundation, we need leaders to take the challenge of spreading conservatism within their communities, cities, parishes, and party regions. Please contact me if you are ready to take action and commit to a better future.

Hello everyone,
Our State Party’s short term goal is to have 1,000 Louisiana Citizens to register as Conservative. This will allow a Conservative Candidate to be put on our state’s election ballot. We already have over 180 registered Conservatives in Louisiana, so we are well on our way, but we need everyone’s help to grow our party to its full potential. Please click “Voter Registration” on the left hand side of our site to learn more.
