Conservative Party (New Jersey) Pledge
For Local, State and Federal Elected Office
I, (Candidate), hereby agree to adhere to the following stipulations in order to gain the endorsement of and/or support from the Conservative Party (New Jersey), hereinafter referred to as PARTY.
As a Candidate for elected Office, I pledge to:
(1) Support Strict adherence to the United States Constitution;
(2) Support smaller government, smaller national debt, lower deficits and lower taxes;
(3) Support the Right to Life
(4) Support free market-based energy reforms by opposing cap and trade legislation and accelerating development of all domestic resources with plans to reduce the percentage of foreign dependence to 15% by 2020;
(5) Support workers’ right to secret ballot by opposing card check and the elimination of unions in all government work;
(6) Support legal immigration and assimilation into American society by opposing both amnesty for illegal immigrants and sanctuary cities.
(7) Support a strong National Defense
(8) Support securing our borders
(9) Support Traditional Marriage; defined as a legal aged man and a legal aged woman
(10) Support the right to keep and bear arms by opposing government restrictions on gun ownership.
As a signatory to this Pledge I understand that failure to comply with the provisions defined herein may result in the loss of PARTY endorsements and financial support by PARTY members and supporters.
