Welcome to America's Conservative voice The Conservative Party's mission is to promote and protect individual rights and freedoms as set forth in the United States Constitution, and to limit the scope of government to the authority set forth in the same. It is time to shed the "I'm a Conservative-Republican or Conservative-Democrat" label because it just positions the conservative within a sub-group of the party. A conservative hyphenated Republican or Democrat is not participating in a true Conservative movement. We need to face up to the reality that we conservatives are being used because we have no opportunity to "Lead" from the sub-group. Why Volunteer?   Almost fifty years ago, a charity was founded on the thought that, "It's better to light one candle than curse the darkness." That is a wonderful thought, but the candle metaphor has another lesson. In order to give light, a candle must consume itself.
